Enjoy an educational bushcraft & bush foods experience with Jake Cassar. Jake is a passionate Bushcraft teacher, youth mentor and conservationist, specialising in edible and medicinal native plants in Australia. He has worked with respected Aboriginal elders in NSW and Central and Western Australia for many years.

Jake’s tours are upbeat, interactive, engaging and include a natural display of native plants out in the Bouddi National Park. Jake teaches how to find water in the bush, how to make fire, basic tracking skills and gives an in-depth description of edible plants, including their medicinal benefits. Jake will share information on how to make rope from tree bark, fire from sticks, soap from Wattle leaves and may even play an instrument along the way.
