4-Night Hiking Holiday

What's On in Pretty Beach

Our sister property, Bells at Killcare, offers fully guided four-day, four-night coastal walking experiences featuring four spectacular hikes, complemented by the indulgent comforts of a world-class hotel at the end of each day. Guests of Pretty Beach House are welcome to join the hiking group, with seamless transfers to and from Bells at Killcare included. In addition, Pretty Beach House guests enjoy the added luxury of all meals being included throughout the week, including dinner each evening, and—when staying in Bayview, Hideaway or The Retreat— you can unwind in a private heated plunge pool to soothe tired muscles at day’s end. If you choose Treetops Pavilion, the indulgent copper bath will work a treat for total relaxation.

There are 3 departure dates in 2026.

The Signature Bouddi Trek, is a guided multi-day adventure for small groups of up to 10 guests, where you will immerse yourself in the stunning beauty of Bouddi National Park.

Host, Nicola Billens from Elixir Journeys, will guide you daily, through 4 iconic trails on the Bouddi Peninsula, from tessellated rugged coastlines, sandstone plateaus, ancient angophora forests and breathtaking views to Palm Beach, the Hawkesbury River, and the Pacific Ocean. Explore the best trails of the Bouddi National Park whilst hiking through this spectacular wilderness, stopping along the coastline for morning tea in surprise locations and feasting on delicious picnic lunches on secluded beaches. Due to the very special Indigenous significance of the area, you'll also hear a little on local Aboriginal heritage and Indigenous culture, whilst on this active wilderness experience.

Each afternoon, you'll have the opportunity to relax in the day spa with a therapeutic massage, enjoy a good book in the comfort of your pavilion, have sunset drinks and delicious dining with food harvested from the Bells at Killcare on-site vegetable garden. You also have the chance to join a Yin yoga class, swim some laps in the 20m magnesium pool or jump in the ocean for total revitalisation.

This is a small group experience, with no more than 10 guests. The hikes are pack-free too, so no need to carry excess baggage unless you like to take a small day pack.

YOUR HOST NICOLA BILLENS
After 6 years of living on the Bouddi Peninsula, Nicola now calls herself a local. She started guiding in the Flinders Ranges and has hosted trips all over Australia. During the pandemic years, she walked over 500 kilometres along all the local bush trails and knows each one intimately. She is passionate about helping people appreciate the wonders of nature, so that they will be more inclined to take care of it, and while she won’t bamboozle you with Latin names for rare plant species, she might recommend you hug a tree.
