Our Menus

The daily menus at Pretty Beach House offer seasonal, Italian inspired cuisine that is often locally sourced or straight from our kitchen & herb gardens. Menus are prepared based on the finest and freshest produce available creating delicious daily menu selections. Menus may be tailored to suit specific dietary needs and requirements.

Breakfast

7.30am until 10.30 am Breakfast, is casual with a touch of authentic Italianate chic as the tables are laid with taupe Busatti 100% linen table runners. Expect fresh juices and fruits, hand made yogurt or clotted cream, house made pastries, breads and granola & eggs straight from our chickens. Relax with the paper over PBH signature eggs and sides to order and finish with your favourite Espresso di Manfredi coffee.

Morning & Afternoon delights

Morning and afternoon tea is available throughout the day offering seasonal fresh fruit and a selection of biscotti, cakes and tarts. Should guests prefer, a selection of fresh breads, grissini, olives, house made pickles and a selection of cheeses are available.

Lunch

12 noon until 2.30 pm For lunch, the chef may suggest an antipasto, which includes salumi, pickled vegetables, eggplant caponata, and local crayfish with a garlic mayonnaise. In summer there is chilled soup such as tomato with saffron, asparagus or fresh peas. Picnic hampers may contain a delicious array of Italian style Panini with house made breads, fresh fruit, cakes and tarts.

For winter, expect hearty seafood and barley stew, winter vegetable minestrone and veal shank with farro, all served with bread baked daily in the house kitchen. A much-loved treat at Pretty Beach House is Pizza al Fresco, as the chef stokes up the poolside wood fired pizza oven.

Fine Wines and Beverages

Wines and beverages are expertly chosen by the house sommelier and paired to suit the guest and the menu on offer.

Indigenous smoking ceremony

We invite our guests to share pre-dinner drinks and canap├ęs and enjoy a traditional smoking ceremony, incorporating didgeridoo & song. Guests will learn of the ancient rock carvings on the property and indigenous dreamtime stories.

Degustation Dinners

6.30pm until 9pm Dinner is a more formal affair in the dining room. Tables are laid with elegant Busatti table linens and our personalised PBH cutlery. Menus are designed each day with the season & freshest ingredients in mind. 

Expect signature risotto served on the finest Bernardaud porcelain, or authentic slow cooked beef cheeks served on rustic pottery from the wheel of master potter Leno Alvarez from the NSW Gold mining town of Hillend.
